Personal Life

Joanna, born in 1984, in Poland is the youngest of three children. Daughter of a mathematician and engineer.

Education

In 1998, at the age of 14 Joanna started to trade on the stock markets. Financial successes prompted her to enroll at Gdansk University in 2003 to pursue economics and finance. In 2006, she transitioned to the National College of Ireland, earning her Master's degree in Finance. During her tenure in Ireland, she also graduated from Dublin Business School, honing her competencies in Project Management and Information Technology.

In 2007, Joanna relocated to London and became an active member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.

In 2011, she relocated to Sydney, Australia, to pursue Advanced Financial Modeling studies at the International Institute of Technology.  In 2015, Joanna successfully completed various programms obtaining active memberships in the National Futures Association in the United States.

Career

Her early years were punctuated with entrepreneurial endeavors. By the age of 10, she was already adept at computers, assisting her father in structuring excel spread sheets. Joanna's fascination with computers and stock markets took root early in her life, fueled by her own investment activities on the Polish Stock Exchange. At 14, she started trading on the Polish Stock Exchange.

In 2003, at the age of 18, Joanna with earned money from stock markets and with the help of two of her classmates launched a company, WorldNet, a provider of internet and software services. The company operated from the premises of the local Bank Ochrony Srodowiska in Sopot, in lieu of Joanna's IT assistance. Despite the success of the enterprise, parental pressures led her to close her company in favor of focusing on her university education. Following this closure, Joanna relocated to Ireland in 2005.

During her four-year residence in Ireland, Joanna commenced her professional journey at the Anglo Irish Bank's IT Department, where she assisted in the implementation of Temenos 24 into the bank's system. At age of 22, in 2007, she founded her next company, Comlife Investments, a vehicle through which she invested her savings on  stock markets. In 2008, Ms. Joanna Accordi, relocated to London, United Kingdom to undertake the role of Junior Portfolio Manager at Alliance Bernstein Plc, amidst the Global Financial Crisis. In this capacity, she demonstrated prowess in asset allocation and risk management, vital during the tumultuous financial period.

The same year, after receiving significant investments from private investors to her company she registered umbrella hedge fund, CML which soon gained notoriety for its remarkable performance. Over subsequent years, CML Funds consistently outperformed its contemporaries, CML’s Funds were duly recognized as one of the “Top 20 Hedge Funds in Europe” by Eureka Hedge Funds. Additionally, Ms. Accordi's financial ingenuity was spotlighted in Professional Investor Magazine.

4 years later, after rapid growth of her company, at the age of 26, Ms. Accordi made a strategic relocation to Australia with the intention of extending her company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

In 2013, Ms. Accordi established regional offices in Hong Kong and subsequently in Sydney, Australia. A linchpin in her company’s success was the integration of sophisticated trading systems. The predictive capabilities of these systems led Ms. Accordi to a realization that a synthesis between “Artificial Intelligence”, Finance, and Neuroscience could yield groundbreaking insights into human decision-making through the analysis of brainwave patterns. In furtherance of this vision, in 2014, Ms. Accordi spearheaded the establishment of the Comlife Institute in Australia.
